Hello Travelers,
Thank you again for all of the support this campaign. They shouldn't call it a campain, they should call it a campleasure (I stole that joke from Paul Rudd).
We crossed the 400k mark which means we unlocked the round marker. We also had a good burst of images come in for the social goals.
My favorite thing about running campaigns is learning about you. So please, tell me what is your favorite French food? My favorite, of course, is a croisant, but I like so many more!
Don't Forget

Hello Travelers,
Ever since I was fortunate to go to Japan (after the last Kickstarter) I grew a deep appreciation for traveling and have tried to prioritize it in my life. During the Japan trip my wife and I decided we wanted to start journaling our experiences.
I love that whenever we go on vacation we create a little record of our favorite experiences. Whenever we reminisce about our trips we pull out the journal as the official record. Although I will say the act of us creating the documentation, makes us pretty good recalling even the smallest details.
I wanted to bring this concept to your board gaming experience. Backers of the Bon Voyage edition of the game will get their own board game journal. This is a nice quality book with a cloth cover (early sample shown below).
The notebook not only will allow you to track your plays but it also has fun challenges. You can try and do a 10x10 challenge, an Alphabet challenge, or get some of those games off of your shelf you haven't gotten around to yet.
The notebook even has blank areas for your own customizations. I hope you all enjoy it.
Merci!
Josh

Hello Travelers!
We hit 350,000 and we unlocked my favorite stretch goal so far. We unlocked a new double-sided goal tile. These goals add new strategies to each time you play and these two give you a power for the rest of the game. With these to tiles we just increased the goal combinations up from 72 to 96!!
Speaking of goals. I want to once again bring your attention our social goals. I want us to unlock all of these but I need your help. We have updated our main campaign page to give you better visibility on these. Please use the hashtag #letsgotofrance and tag me @sirjoshwood or @alederaceg

2) The 400 Blows (Les quatre cents coups)

Additional Copies, Additional Croissants

Hello Travelers!
I wanted to announce we have added additional copies of the game as add-ons. So now if you want to buy multiple copies, you can add them on now instead of waiting for the pledge manager to open.
I also wanted to mention I will be doing a livestream tomorrow, May 29 at 3pmET/12pmPT over on Panda8ngel’s Twitch channel Twitch.tv/Panda8ngel Please join us.
Finally, can you tell if you've been to France? And if so, what your favorite activity was when you went there?
I have a hard time choosing just one, but likely it was when I spent an entire morning trying to find the best croissant in Paris.
When my family goes on vacation we have a tradition to "Find the best ______" The blank always being a particular food that the city or country is known for. I ate a croissant every day while in France, but one morning I scouted out 5 or so boulangeries outside of the touristy area of town, and went to all of them in one morning.
I think making up these "missions" on vacations helped me conceive of the idea of turning vacations into a game, and that there is a way to truly make vacations your own. Also when you get your copy of Let's Go! To France it's why the "Croissant" card, is actually called "Find the best croissant" and it rewards you for spending a lot of time sampling food.
