Hello Travelers!
This past weekend in America we celebrated Father's Day. I want to start off by saying how much I love my father and how I wouldn't be here if not for him. But today's story is about my mom.
After speaking to my dad, I briefly spoke with my mom. She asked me how the Kickstarter was going.
"Mom, It ended on Friday"
"Oh! But I can still buy it right? I want some for Christmas!"
"No. I suppose you could late pledge, but you wouldn't get them for Christmas"
"Why not?"
"Well, we have to make them. Do checks on them. Ship them to America. Then ship them around the world to backers... Also Mom, I can get you copies of the game. I'm the designer"
"Well I want to buy them! Will you help me buy some copies?"
"Sure, Mom"
AEG and I have decided to honor my mom's request. Her pledge will take us over the $47 needed to hit the $500K mark and unlock our final stretch goal. All we ask in return is some patience while we make the product. There are a lot of steps and we want everything to be perfect.

Thank you for a wonderful campaign! We raised $499,953 because of you.
Thank you for your support! It allows us to continue to make new games like Let’s Go! to France and make deluxe versions of them like the Bon Voyage edition. Every pledge counts and we are very grateful you chose to back this project. We can’t wait to fulfill your rewards! We unlocked 24 cards, postcards, a round tracker, and more!!
In the following few days:
• Kickstarter will charge your credit card. If your card fails to process, Kickstarter will retry it several times in the following week
• Late Orders for those who missed the campaign will open as soon as we have completed setup with our pledge manager. We expect Late Orders to go live before the end of June but it may take a few days longer. We will post an Update when the Late Orders goes live. DO NOT MAKE A LATE ORDER IF YOU MADE A KICKSTARTER PLEDGE
• The Pledge Manager for Kickstarter backers will be opened three to six weeks from today, with the exact date depending on when Kickstarter transmits the funds from this campaign to us. You will receive an Update and an email from us and emailed notification from the pledge manager when the pledge manager is ready to being processing your Kickstarter orders. Until then, you do not need to take any action.
• We’ll Update you periodically over the next year when the campaign hits a major milestone. The next major milestone will be when we begin the production process by approving files; that will happen several months from now.
• Please visit alderac.com/crowdfunding for the most up to date info on this and all our campaigns; that site is your best source for progress information and anything else you need to know about the campaign and we update it every time we have any new information to report.
When the pledge manager is ready to allow you to complete your Kickstarter order, you will be sent an email from the pledge manager with a link to access your order. Use that link to complete the checkout process. You can change your Reward, and include add-ons with your Reward. The system will calculate the amount due for shipping & tax and present you with a final total at checkout.
APPLE ID USERS: Please note - if you use your Apple ID to access Kickstarter and you chose to have Apple hide your email, the email address we receive from Kickstarter is useless. Neither we, nor the pledge manager can contact you via email about your order. Please email [email protected] for assistance if you have your account configured in this manner.
How To Get Your Newsletter Promo If you are a subscriber to our newsletter as of the day we open the Pledge Manager on the pledge manager for Kickstarter orders we will add this content to your order for free. One Newsletter Promo (the 5ht player expansion) will be added for free per order. If you are not a subscriber to the newsletter, or if you want more than one, you’ll be able to purchase them for $10 each.

We have only 24 hours left! We unlock 18 cards so far and we are starting to heat up again. Thank you everyone for backing the game.
I wanted to highlight a card we just unlocked and talk about another one we are close to unlocking. Maison de Van Gogh and Musee Picasso Paris. These two cards were illustrated by two different artists but each of them snuck in little Easter eggs. Maison de Van Gogh is painted in a Van Gogh style and has a nod to his famous irises painting and Musee Picasso contains Picasso's iconic Peace Dove. I didn't ask either artist to do these, but clearly they were inspired by the artists.

Hello Travelers!
We have about 48 hours left in the campaign and we are already heating back up.
We have finally unlocked my favorite social goal of postcards. I love postcards. When I first moved to Los Angeles I started collecting postcards (especially ones with cool art), so I am happy we get to make some for you.
I love postcards so much that I am happy I get to repeat my postcard campaign from the last project. I will send the a postcard to the first 25 people in the US who sends me an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Postcard" along with your address. We ran out in under a hour last time, so try and be quick.
***UPDATE We have received over 25 emails. Thank you for the excitement***
If you don't get a postcard, remember you have 5 coming in your copy of the game! Also as a bonus. Here is a video I made with my sister a few months ago. My sister loves France, and was a big reason for me choosing this country. In this video we talk about our favorites in Paris for each category in the game. Let me know what you would choose.
